AIMS
The objective of the training is for participants to acquire the fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge to understand the principles of pharmacomics.
TARGETED STUDENTS
Professionals or PhD students in the fields of pharmacology or toxicology working in the pharmaceutical industry, regulatory agencies, hospitals, research laboratories.
ADMISSION CONDITIONS
A master's degree or equivalent is required.

KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED
Fundamental concepts include linear algebra, linear and non-linear regression, differential calculus, modelling and identifiability, common pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models. Participants will be introduced to basic pharmacomics tools, such as the R language, PKanalix and monolix software, in workshops.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
After the training, participants should be able to understand and evaluate pharmacomics studies, and perform simple PK/PD analyses.
