AIMS
This program focuses on micronutrition. It enables healthcare professionals (pharmacists, physicians, nurses, etc.) to acquire expertise in providing individualized micronutritional counseling tailored to each patient's lifestyle, medical conditions, and ongoing treatments.
TARGETED STUDENTS
Pharmacists; pharmacy students who have successfully completed their fifth year of studies; pharmacy technicians; physicians; and healthcare professionals in the medical and paramedical fields.
ADMISSION CONDITIONS
- State Diploma of Doctor of Pharmacy
- Successful completion of the fifth year of pharmacy studies
- Bachelor's degree level
STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION
The program comprises a total of 120 hours, delivered over 16 full days of instruction, primarily on Thursdays, from January 1 to June 30 of the current calendar year. The program is validated by a written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions (MCQs), short-answer questions, and community pharmacy case studies.

KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED
Through an online course platform, students update their knowledge in nutrition and micronutrition. They then acquire new knowledge during the on-site course days on:
- How to analyze a list of dietary supplements
- How to support a patient in micronutrition in physiological situations such as sports, pregnancy, menopause, andropause, perinatal period, and advanced age
- How to support a patient in micronutrition in the context of metabolic disorders (obesity, diabetes, dyslipidemia, liver diseases), neuropsychiatric or hormonal disorders (thyroid dysfunction, polycystic ovary syndrome), intestinal disorders (IBD, diverticula), inflammatory conditions (rheumatism), or dermatological conditions
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED
Through this program, students acquire skills in patient listening and in providing tailored, individualized counseling for each patient based on their lifestyle, physiopathological status, and ongoing treatments. They also gain the competencies to develop the range of services offered by the pharmacy team in the field of micronutritional supplementation, as well as organizational skills for implementing nutritional support in the community pharmacy or in any other medical or paramedical context.
